Drawing exhibition “Biruta`s stories” of Biruta Jansone

From February 17 to March 25 in Exhibition Hall of Valmiera Museum it will be possible to visit drawing exhibition of Latvian artist Biruta Jansone.

The exhibition at the Valmiera Museum “Biruta’s stories” is a series of drawings created from 2018-2022. As the artist herself tells: “Suddenly I wanted to draw on black paper and there was a great desire to talk, to tell what I was thinking about, what made me happy, what hurt me. To tell about what is usually written in the diary, what is talked about over a cup of tea, to share what is important to me. Such a private conversation in a public way”.
