Exhibition “Without Borders” of artists from Valmiera and surrounding counties (until July 20)

This year, the Valmiera Museum celebrates its 60th anniversary with several exhibitions and events, including this one. Participants of the exhibition: Andris Vārpa, Anita Jansone Zirnīte, Aivars Benužs, Antra Galzone, Jānis Galzons, Biruta Jansone, Jānis Roberts Jansons, Dace Blūma, Daina Leite, Ieva Lapiņa Strazdīte, Ilze Ērgle Vanaga, Inese Andersone, Iveta Gudeta, Kristīne Zemļicka Brālēna, Līga Jaunzeme, Silvija Melnūdre, Laila Strada, Līga Mergina, Oskars Rozenblats, Aigars Lapiņš. The exhibition is a confirmation, that every artist who lives, works, is inhabitant of Valmiera and who brings the name of the city and surrounding counties (Mazsalaca, Rūjiena) to the world, is important to us. There are also artists who do not live in Valmiera for some time, but have contributed to the development of the art industry in our counties.

Without borders – art is a free, individual perception of the world that every artist feels differently through himself … without borders in colours, shapes, styles, materials…

Until July 20, in the exhibition you will be able to see, how each artist lives and works.
